Missy Pie and Mr. Sir

And So Begins Spring Semester 2012

A Missy Pie Post…

In honor of a new year in education beginning today, I am reminded of one of my heroes in education reform. If you aren’t familiar with Sir Kenneth Robinson then please acquaint yourself with him. I discovered him during one of my masters of education programs thanks to an extraordinary teacher, Dr. Richie Wood, and have been hooked.

Here is a talk he did at a TED conference a few years back. Oh, and if you aren’t familiar with TED.com then you’re welcome. If you can’t find something that inspires you on that website then you are basically dead inside and should be put down through tranquilization and sent the glue factory…

Thanks again to Dr. Wood for introducing me to TED.com. If you’re going to change the world someday, TED has some pretty inspirational blueprints!

Now sit back and be inspired!
